I have been a psychotherapist since 1989. In my private practice in Olympia, WA, I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. My special areas of interest include life transitions, illness as a healing path, young adult and emancipation issues, career /vocational path, grief and loss, relationships, and family and loved ones of alcoholics. I draw on a broad range of theoretical perspectives, training, and experience, especially favoring modes of inquiry and direct experiencing, such as Process Work and somatic awareness. I incorporate the healing power of nature and the wisdom of natural systems (including, of course, our bodies) in my approach.
Since I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I am an out of network provider for most major insurances, and therefore they will reimburse a percentage of my fees for sessions.
